Can ARB/TDM bumper for 75, 78 and 79 series be modified for LJ70?

My LJ70 is slowly coming together out here. Topside rust repairs are complete and work is moving smoothly under the car. While the welding and painting continue, I want to move to additional accessories. There are a good number of later model 70 series landcruisers out here that come kitted out by Intermotive-type modifiers with ARB, TDM and other accessories. I can't afford to ship in a new correct front bumper for my LJ70 but I should be able to find good units on wrecked later model long wheelbase trucks. Would these be readily modifiable for mounting on my LJ70 without cutting into my front fenders and sacrificing performance and safety or is it not worth the effort?

yep my mate used to have an early round headlight LJ with an ARB bar on it, it was already on there when he brought it so I dunno what they needed to do to get it to fit, he took it off when he sold the truck and it looks like they probably did a bit of guard chopping to get it to fit
