I already own a chopped 100 series, but I spied this one Graysonline, and I would hate to see it get broken up or left to die. Surely there is someone out in the IH8MUD world who would buy this and give it a loving home?
It's not often you see a dual cab chopped 80 series 6x6, and it's a bargin price.

It's nearly cheap enough for an impulse buy, but I just spent $12k rebuilding my engine this year and can't afford another toy.

Interesting. I get why they did it the way they did, with how the stock wheel well lines up, but those axles seem too far forward for the length to me. Still cool, but as much work went into the rest I feel like that should have been remedied.

Also, for the love if all that's good in the world, WHY a gas motor? That thing can't be light!

Agree with you, that they should have done the chassis extension. I wished they had done that with mine as the load in the tray site past the wheels (not that I can get more than a few hundred kg in the back anyway)

I think it might be that dual diesel/LPG setup. It's not super popular here in Australia, but I have seen a few cruisers with it. Either way I thought my 4 wheels consumes a lot of fuel, try adding 50% more wheels!

But still hope someone buys it and looks after it.

You work with what you got.
Diesels have always held a premium price in Australia. Some people can't justify the extra cost. Some people prefer petrol engine.

Also, this is manual. Will cope with the weight a lot better than a 90s auto.

That's one big ugly box on the back! I agree with the extended wheel base comment there's a lot hanging over the rear axle.

Lots of aussie 6x6 conversions will include a chassis extension.

Nowhere near enough photos of the body chop, or driveline/ chassis etc for me to even contemplate buying that at auction unseen

Its definitely a petrol engine, not diesel.

But yes, it looks like it has an LPG system in it. More reason to pass!

I would be more worried about the apparent lack of blue plate than anything else.

Its definitely not a sensible purchase, or everyday driver, arguably a novelty car at best. But that does mean there isn't someone out there to keep it alive.

I wonder where they located the third row seating? It would be kinda stifling back in the box.
