Camping trip (1 Viewer)

I'm heading camping with my boy.

I figure Tuck lake Thursday night, Flora lake Friday night with a dirt bike ride to the nearby plane crash and then Saturday night in Bamfield.

I've never been to Tuck or Flora lake so any Pro Tips would be appreciated. I hear there is a 4x4 track around Tuck that might be good for the boy and his dirtbike.

Sounds like it'll be a fun trip! Weather is looking half decent for once too.

I second Graham as the expert on Tuck lake. @Gsb15 . I'm pretty sure he's take his 70 around the lake before. It is pretty rough, but should be easier on a motor bike.

I camped at Tuck once. There were other people at the nicest spot, so we continued around and camped further toward the end. Lots of places to ride to in the general area too. There is a little mountain lake high up near there that is kind of neat.

Great trip with the boy, Tuck lake didn’t disappoint, Flora was nice but it rained a lot. Bamfield was beautiful, the boy even brought home a Chinook.

just saw this now, but i think we literally drove by you at Tuck on the Friday!
looks like a good trip, we ended up camping at the river bank site.
