I'm going to be driving from memphis to st. louis this weekend to visit washington university. My friend and I were planning on camping on the way back. Of course we are taking the cruiser. (esp since other option is a civic) I was wondering if anyone knew of any areas to camp on the way or aroud st. louis that were good? for offroading as well

There's a place north of St Louis, some in Jeff city, some south of st louis but it's mainly dirtbikes..

Attica would also be a great spot.. Might try Victor, he's got a shop over in that part of the state..
If you just want camping.. I'd go down to the meremac river area south of st louis.. Go float and camp..

yea we're taking my 80. not too hard core wheeling my 80 is stock and id rather not break anything. any good places for combination of camping and wheeling? it doesnt necessarily have to be a "wheeling specific" location

Check out areas near Steelville, MO. Good camping along the rivers, might be some fun forest road stuff to check out.
