I ordered my OME medium and am expecting it to deliver next week. QUESTION...... Who in town is the best source for pressing in new bushings for CC? Who did you use? I would like to use somebody who has done this job before and knows what they are doing. Also, did you use a jig or just a template and how much should I expect to have to pay for the job.

I haven't had much luck with local shops, most don't want to do this kind of custom work. Time for a club work day - I need to swap my rear springs too, I put them in backwards and have been running that way for a while.

I just sent my template down to Eric in Auburn.

What bushings did you order? Landtank (80s forum ) has templates for sale for different types of bushings.

Going with the OME yellows. Probably just line up against the old bushing to get the alignment. You're welcome to come punch them in for me if you want.

I would order the template from landtank for the yellow bushings. that way you are sure you have the same offset on both sides and it also moves the axle forward a little to prevent the spring arch.

as for the wrenching session...

should we make that the november meeting(even if it is in early december)? what does everyone's schedule look like for the next couple of weeks. Weeknight? weekend? thoughts? suggestions?

Week after Thanksgiving, Monday or Thursday night.

Great idea! If it ended up being a weekend, I could try to come and help whoever.

I looked for that template a few eeks ago... I think it got left out at the shop I pressed them in at... DANG!
