Hey there fellow 4X4ers
So I'm in the process of setting up my cruiser, and have a lighting question.

1. If you have a winch and plan on having five lights up top on the rack and four on the front bumper will a second batterie be required? (I'm thinking ....YES :grinpimp:)

2. Any of you know where you would get all the required kit for adding a second batterie?

Thanks in advance for posting.

I used the Painless Dual Battery wiring kit from SummitRacing.com. Here is my dual battery install write-up. With that much draw you will probably want to look at upgrading your alternator as well.

Wow, you planning on getting stuck somewhere in the dark? :D

You have a 120 amp alternator...add up all the crap you want to be running at the same time and see where you are before you go upgrading everything.

120amp @ 12 volts = 1440 watts output

Use that to make sure you have enough juice. I am not saying don't add the battery, but before you do understand what you are getting for it. I have decided not to add another battery right now and added an air compressor in that big blank space under the hood.

Good luck!
