Apparantly while he was in FL blowing up our troops with IEDs, his wife and/or kid managed to freeze his computer up. Said it has some message or something about 'autoplay'. Please bring your ideas to the meeting tommorrow night.:)

Monniepoo has a valid point. Make sure there is no cd, floppy, or flash drive in the computer. If there is then the bios will try to load it as a boot disk rather than going through a normal start up. Does the computer boot and get into windows or does it get locked down immediately with this message?

You coming to the meetin tomorrow randy? If so ill bring the tank;)

Yes, I'll see you tomorrow. I'm dropping off Ian's transmission jack at the meeting as well.

You folks with Winblows machines get all the cool problems. :flipoff2:

MAC FTW

If Mac's became too popular then people would start writing viruses for them as well. You're lucky Steve Jobs is the underdog and doesn't attract too much attention away from Windows.

I'm not arguing whether Mac's or PC's are better and I never will. They both have their uses.

Um yeah, this is one of the lamest "excuses" MicroCrap uses always try and come up with and its just completely not true. Would more people be TRYING to develop viruses/trojans/worms, et al? Yes. But what makes M$ SUCH a target is the way the operating system is written. Its like swiss cheese, MANY points of entry. And hackers/crackers ARE always trying to develop for MACs but are just so utterly unsuccessful. IN FACT its more of a challenge to try and develop for MACs anyway.

A laptop? If so bring it.

Can you write down the exact text of the message and bring it to the meeting?
