I know this forum is mostly U.S. and Canada, but I think there are a few folks in europe and South or Central America. So, any of you folks in Europe or South America who have LHD 7X series that have cable lockers... i have a quick question. Where do the cables from the lockers come through the body into the cab?

I am converting my RHD JDM BJ74 to Left Hand Drive. The donor truck I have did not have lockers, so I need to fabricate some stuff. But I can't see any stampings where it could come through. On the factory Right Hand Drive, it comes through the floor board near the "driver's" seat, between the seat and the door, then the cables travel along the floor board, then up the firewall to the dash.

Where do the run on the Left Hand Drive?

Thanks!

On a 60 series the cable locker handle are in between the drivers and passenger seat. The cable 'hole' is almost right under.

At least on the one I have seen anyway.

70 series, as far as I know, never had cable lockers.

Yep cable lockers were aval on them pre 90 but not sure on entry holes

I don't have a 75, but i do have the lockers and took those out of the 75 myself. Hope that counts...

The entrypoint is on the left side of the drivers seat in the slanted part of the floor that goes upwards to where the seats mounts. Hope thats somewhat clear(??)
The levers mount below the dash on the left side where the hood release is and into the A-pillar. There are bolt holes present behind the cover.

HTH,
Mark
