Hi Fellow Mud mates,
I am trying to piece together my 1982 FJ60. I bought the truck last year unaware of the extent of the PO's modifications, since it passably runs and drives. I've been turning to MUD as a resource to learn and for parts and information as these vehicles are new to me.
I was in the process of collecting the smog components to re-smog the truck when I discovered it has a non-original engine (in retrospect, the aftermarket A/C compressor, in the attached photo, should have clued me in sooner) -- a 1979 2F from an FJ40.
Needless to say, I realized that I will need more parts than I had anticipated.
Rather than continuing on this hunt piecemeal, I thought I would reach out to the MUD community for any leads on a complete FJ60 engine with accessories, smog components, power steering.....basically, something I can just drop in to the truck with minimal down time.
Any and all leads appreciated.
