Bypass external voltage regulator (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I have replaced the original alternator in my 24V bj40 (1980) with an NPR 4BE1 24V with vacuum pump. As the replacement alternator has an internal voltage regulator I wonder how the wiring to the new alternator is done; how to bypass the external voltage regulator and where the wires connect to the new NPR alternator. Is there a need for a fuse in this wiring, if so what amp should this one have?

i cant help witht the wiring question sorry, but what part number NPR alternator are you running? and was it a direct fit?
