Replacing the wife's DD '05 Tacoma DC SB TRD....184K miles...bought w7K miles 14 yrs ago
So..yes...Toyota family here...along with my DD a '14 Tacoma DC SB 6 sp MT
Started looking at LX series...but had to keep wife happy of going much newer than her '05...hard to find a clean/low mile
LX 470...570 's jump in price fast...thus the GX caught my eye..ended up finding this '11 on CarMax....yes I know retail $$
But it looks clean...low miles @ 95K...Premium pkg...including Levinson sound system..Navigtion....Adj suspension etc..This is our
first Lexus...just waiting for delivery to the SLC store..Hope its what we are looking for and pics are what the cars is...Or I can walk away
w/o my shipping fee of course...live 3 hrs from SLC so shopping for the car there really wasn't an option...time & weather issues
First major upgrade I plan is 17" wheels & prob BFG KO2's 255-70x17
Premium vs Luxury pkg ? Which is the more bang for the buck in the 2011 ? TIA !

It's nice but the amps like to fail

You are on a great path... I made the transition from a built 2002 100-series to a 2013 GX 460 (Basic) and very happy so far with the change to a more modern Toyota product... Same color - great baseline vehicle. I bought mine from Earnhart Lexus Phoenix and drove it back to Seattle...

I plan to do a build thread when time allows but highlights:
-Replace tired OEM tires with GY Duratrac 255 70R18 - I've liked and run these tires in NW snow and rain
-Running board trim & slider install (Rocky Road - Heber City)
-Third row delete and custom cargo shelf
-Radflo 2.5 coilover suspension upgrade
-Factory flush rail delete and Yakima LockNLoad rack install

10-13 Premium = ‘14+ Luxury

only two trims in US 10-13.. Base and Premium

As 22Eynu35VO noted, there was not a Luxury package available pre '14. So if you purchased the Premium, you have all the bells and whistles! :)
