Beautiful truck.

Interesting fact. I paid $18k for my new Fj60 in 1987. I paid $55k for my new 100 in 1998. I paid $56k for my new LX in 2014. Prices seem to be going okay for me personally. :)

How did you get a 2014 LX570 that lists for around $90k for $56k? You can't buy a used 2014 with 50k miles on it for that now?

he made them an offer they couldn't refuse - like in Good Fellas

It was a new 2013 and stickered for $89k. Dealer invoice was $82k (I love the information available from sites like cars.com). Bought it at the end of March 2014. My local Lexus dealer sells close to zero white LX570s. Most they sell are black. It was the end of March 2014 and their incentives were ending 3/31. They had carried the note on this car for over 10 months (I knew this because I was watching their inventory on their website). They had marked it down to an Internet price of $67900 starting February 1. I walked in and offered them $55k at the beginning of February. I upped it to $56k at the beginning of March. I stopped by on the afternoon of March 31 and offered them $56900. They took it.

I did pay full price for the Lexus platinum warranty. Probably wouldn't have done that normally (talked them down by 50% on the same warranty when I bought my wife's new RX400h) but they are my neighborhood dealer and treat me right. They had had enough pain for one day.

Another interesting fact - less than a month ago I received in the mail an unsolicited cash buy offer from a local Toyota and a local Subaru dealer for $52k. I called them and their offers were indeed true. Came close to selling and using the cash for buying a cheaper, more fuel efficient Lexus NX that fits in my garage at work. I just couldn't bring myself to give up my LX. I love it.

Every time I take my rig into the local Toyota dealer for a oil change I receive a phone call form them wanting to purchase my truck.
I had to ask the manager to put a stop to the phone calls. I wouldn't even get out of their lot before my cell would ring. They are actively
hunting these birds down.

I might sell my 08 LC in a month or so..
Miss the PowerStroke Diesel way too much.

PM me if interested and I will provide details, shop records, etc..

This is such a good deal it is hard to believe. I would have done this deal just to resell.

Seems to be a Lexus process that is repeating again this year. I am getting emails from dealers saying all 2014 Lexus vehicles must be gone off their lots by the end of February with huge discounts. Maybe it's an Ohio thing.

Anyway you could post one of those emails? I'm looking at a certified 2013 lx570 with 45k miles right now. They are asking $64,900

Gotcha, no big deal. Thanks! I'm hoping to get one home soon, but trying to save every penny possible.

My local dealer has eight 2015 LX570s in stock. Are you saying these should start to be discounted heavily shortly?

Interesting that the sales number for a Ferreri 458 is about the same as the LX570. I don't think Lexus cares how many they sell in the USA. The LX is not built to a price point it is built to the highest quality standard and then they set the price. After winter is over and all the snow melts you will get your best deal on a 2015

The snow will never melt in the NE this year!!!

When that NE ice pack does melt it'll be flooding and snorkels will be the hot topic.

a lot depends on where you are; travel a bit and you can save lots of money; my dealership has 2 and is actually NOT expecting more because of the make over the LX is getting for the 2016 model. So far all I have heard its a face lift with that funky grill all of them are getting. shop around take a little plane flight and you can save big money.

If they put that big ugly front end that they put on the GX on the LX, my rig should go way up in value ;)
