Pulled the factory roof rack off my 80 today, free to anyone who wants to pick it up. Ribs, cross bars and rubber feet intact. If you're on the state line I might make you be a beer mule.

Is the frame just surface rust or is it eat up? I wish you could see what kind of shape the canvas was in. The box looks good, but if the canvas is trash, then that would be a pricey update. Also, does it need new tires?

@wileycoyote I hate to snake you. You asked about it and I hate to jump you. @sk8salomon is the neighbor willing to pop it up to see what the canvas and interior looks like. If not then it is all yours wiley.
 
Now wait a second I don't want a piece of s***. If canvas is shot deal would be off regardless. It's ok if you want it. Not too many times do I let someone jump line. I've had a pretty fortunate month on finds and buys so grab it. Make sure it's full of beer at gsmtr. ;)
 
I have seen enough and would bet inside is good. Couple tell tell signs; Under a carport and a tarp. Original awning on the side is still there. Observe the condition of the cover. I have looked at enough. $800 is a deal. I would bet $$$ it's in decent shape for an old camper.
 
Wasn't implying you would want a piece, just that if I couldn't see it I didn't want to bother.:)

Anyway, @sk8salomon if he let's you grab a couple pics, or if you just tell me the canvas and insides are good AND if Benjamin and 7 of his twin brothers will let it come home with me I will plan a trip down to pick it up And he can consider it sold.

I love ipa or anything other than Budweiser products. Dark is always good. Not too proud for pbr. ;)
 
I'm a craft fan myself as well. Not big into IPA's, but there is a killer store just down the street. What's your current fav?
 
I have been drinking a lot of west sixth brewery but not sure they are in your neck of the woods. They are out of Lexington. The best is shotgun wedding. I would walk to the bar to get one, nothing better. I am open for anything though. Love trying anything new.
