Just a quick note about the "Buyer Be Aware" posts. I meant for these posts to help people who were looking at a cruiser for sale. First, so people could see the type of stuff out there. Second, so someone might run across the post if they googled the VIN. Buyers looking for cruisers have been very appreciative of the information. Sellers trying to make a buck on the popularity of imported Land Cruisers have not been so enthusiastic. It was time consuming to find and document these vehicles being listed for sale with inaccurate information. But it was more time consuming to deal with the harassment from the sellers who were being exposed. I experienced attempted social media doxing, harassment by phone and email and even a lawsuit (easily dismissed because we only post facts, but still time consuming). So, I stopped doing these posts at some point. I'd like to continue helping people avoid lemons, so hit us up at Land Cruisers Direct!
