Has any one knows if Octavio still selling those burrito cooking boxes for the 80?I email him and also call and having heard back from him. Just wondering if anyone out there knows if he still making these.Cheers

Talk to MANUCHAU, he's friends with him. The guy does insane work. You should see his interior roll cage work. It would make you shed a tear its so beautiful.

Hey NLXTACY,thanks for the info I will contact MANUCHAU later today on my way out hiking w/my 11 yr old son and hopefully taking some photos of my LC to post up,well overdue.Busy w/honor roll concerts/basketball my 15 year old made it to both, and of course my old lady "honey do's"Anyhow:beer: thanks for the info.

UMMAGUMMA got your PM.

Sorry, I only spoke with Octavio a few times.. I know he has his own shop around LA but I only met him a few times... he does great work as Joey says, but that all I know
Sorry I can be of more help.

Thankx Manuchao I'll give it another try,I could use that burrito box for some burritos de chorizo con papas and some molletes and the list goes on and on

I'm sure hope he still makes them.

Nowhere near the style of Octavio's slick boxes, I did kludge together a food warmer from some decorative wire baskets I found. I used one basket for the base and sides, then cut the sides off another to make the lid. Some wire hinges, a latching bail, and bolts to the manifold. I stuck a temp gauge on the front. Voila!

Cheap, too. I think the oven thermometer cost more than the two baskets and everything else was from the junk box.

BTW, that 500 degrees on the thermometer is overkill, never gets much more than right around 200 max, but they don't seem to make a low temp oven thermometer. It works.:wrench::hillbilly:

Coolest one I've ever seen was a converted bsa muffler. Major style points there
