If anyone wants to stop by to watch me put out sparks in my hair or see how good they are with stick.

Gonna put together the rear bumper for the Mrs truck I've been putting off....

Another 4x4 Labs. Just hard to beat the design or price.

Ended up just unbolting stuff. Goodness, lot of bolts on the stock bumper.

Wish you guys would hang onto to any scrap material that might be useable in beefing up my front bumper. It could use some strengthening before I have to put it to the test. I don't know how to "burn steel", but I can burn a tri-tip. I'm not too picky on looks, just good solid welds and some spray paint.

I've got some plenty of scrap that can be used to reinforce your bumper. Just shoot me a PM when you'd like to stop by, weekends are best for me, but evenings work too. Toughest part will be getting it off and back on the truck, I'm not dead lifting it by myself!

Thanks, I'll have to get together with you just to look at it and think of the best way to proceed. May have to wait until after the Holidays. I wanted Aric to do some work for me and the wife is thinking of bugging out of here for a week around Christmas(in her van). If that happens time and money will be in short supply till 2012. If the world's gonna end next year I'd like to use my bumper to express myself in traffic once or twice and also go winching at least once before I use it to hang myself before "the end" gets here.

I'm gone almost all of December, so either this month or Jan.

Should be zero cost to reinforcing the bumper, have the steel and welder. ;)

Thanks, I will be in touch. Are you in Medford?

I can remember walking up and down the hall with my baby daughter at 4 am and I was crying almost as much as she was- I had to go back to work again with about an hour of sleep. It sucks. There's a pill for anything these days.

Are you welding this weekend?? In the rain??:meh:

Don't typical weld in the rain, garage isn't available really due to no garage door....

I can set up a canopy if absolutely necessary, but don't really like standing on wet ground with a live 220 volt feed in my hand.....

Sunday is supposed to be sunny though.

Just let me know when your gonna do some more work on a weekend and I'll try to join you. There is no rush. This weekend will be post-colonoscopy for me anyhow, may feel a little "crappy".;)

Shoot me your number via PM and I'll give ya a ring.
