Bunch of 40 stuff in SLC- updated prices
FJ-40 Stuff
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, I have a few items I need to get out of my garage, as do most of us. Here is what I have. The prices are negotiable, but make it reasonable. They are all out of a 1974 FJ-40.
Complete rear axle with Detroit and 4.11's along with a custom built traction bar. The traction bar is the length for the springs to be reversed for a longer wheel base, but it could easily be made to fit a stock set up. The spring perches are set up for spring-over. Aluminum diff cover. $550
4 Speed Tranny and T-case still connected with all shift linkages/ levers. The gasket between the two needs replaced. The parking brake has new pads, but the cable is not included. $200 Lowered to $150 Now only $100 SOLD
GM V-8 bellhousing and adapter for a V-8 conversion to 4 speed tranny. Also included would be the flywheel, throw out bearing, clutch, t-case cross member, slave cylinder mounting bracket, starter, and flywheel cover. I would replace the throw out bearing and clutch, but you will want them for reference when purchasing new parts. $350 Lowered to $225 Should have started at $150
Stock steering wheel. I turned down an offer for $100, but I should have taken it. $100
Front seats with sliders but not frame to mount to floor. They need some help, but they are usable as is. $100 How about $50
Center console. Has a slight tear in the metal, but a quick weld and sanding will fix it right up. $20 SOLD
Hard top and doors. I still am undecided if I want to part with the doors. $500 for all.
I have a Thule roof rack that holds 4 snowboards at a 45 degree angle that would work with any FJ-40 hard top. I can't get pics of it for a few days, because it is hiding out at the parents house. Same style as new that sells for over $450- $200
Skid plate. I think it is stock, because it has access to the drain/ fill plugs from under it, but you could make it work on probably anything. $40 $30
Fenderwell headers. Great for the V-8 conversion. They need some touching up, maybe even some HPC coating, and they would look great. $40
I am in the SLC area, but I would be willing to deliver within 50 or so miles. If you want a picture of anything specific let me know, but PM me your email so I can actually attach the image.
