I'm getting ready to put a winch & bumper on my FJ. Looking at Warn & ARB bumpers and warn winch. Will I need a lift kit after putting them on the front?

If anyone has any recommendation, please let me know.

I don't know if you'll need a lift, but your front end will sag pretty bad with all that weight on the stock suspension. I am running the Old Man Emu heavy coils up front and I'm very happy. Take a look at the FabFours front bumper before you make a decision. The best bumper on the marker IMO.

Do yourself a favor

Look at Expedition One, approach angle, weight, strength can't be beat. I used a coil-over setup to keep suspension soft enough to articulate and still give 2.5" lift. The OME keeps things too stiff for me. IMO

I think you will need new stiffer springs up front. This combo is going to run you at about 170lbs over weight on the stock springs. I would look at the ome lift if I were you. I had a bumper custom made which is close to the LCNW bumper and used the 9.0RC winch. I only added about 75lbs to the front and had to stiffen my adjustable res All Pros to compensate. If you dont stiffen the front you will ahve noticeable dive in the front. have a coworker that did the same combo with a revtek lift and said that the road manners were terrible. Hope this helps.
