I have a weird driveway which requires me to turn as hard as I can to the right to avoid my wife's Sequoia then straighten and pull into a very tight area in garage (no excuses - I dumbed out).
Being the NASCAR skill level driver I am, I do this manuever much faster than I should. Yesterday, I BARELY touched the left side of the garage door opening with the bumper. I tried to back out (dumb move) and it ripped the bumper loose from the 2 attachment points and it crumbled like a piece of paper.
I got it looking fine today with a little effort but had to screw it back in. Went to auto store - for a bumper, a sensor, and a headlight assembly (small crack) its $2,000.00.
I used to crash into things in my Yukon and got a whole new bumper for $400.00.
Bottom line - my house is either really well built or the corner of the LC bumper is not so strong.
Also, yes, I evidently can't drive any better than my wife, which is pretty sad.
