Anybody out there with a Hundy, champagne color, blacked out emblems, Slee blueberry front bumper? Saw one driving into Bull Run Shooting Park, VA around 1130AM on Sunday, Mat 6th as I was leaving.

i didnt know we had a blueberry in the area.

Yeah, that's my 100 series. I shoot at Bull Run almost every Sunday at about 10am. Next time you are around there, catch me and say hello. This particular 100 has the TRD Supercharger and Rad-Flo res shocks, Total Chaos UCA, and Mike's BIOR sliders, along with Christo's Blueberry front. I just got done installing Shane's leather kit and I will try to finish the Depo HID '06 conversion in the next couple of weeks, so if you are thinking of any of those things you are welcome to look at it on this cruiser.

Yep that pretty much sums up my entire dream list and the FJ as well. :bounce: Would love to chat next time. My neighbor and I have become Sunday morning 0900 regulars, I must have missed you the last few times. I've seen a all white FJ there on Sundays as well. I will definitely seek you out. We should be there next Sunday (Mother's Day) if not, we will link up another time as well. When I drive, I will be in a 99 Hundy, Black, stock. :o

I just got back into skeet/trap shooting a couple of months ago. Nothing like a little small clay pigeon to humble you.

YukonLX, I know what you mean about the Blueberry. We were leaving and all I saw was this flash going the opposite direction. I was like, I think that was a Blueberry, first one I had seen in person. The guy I shoot with, isn't really a truck guy, so he couldn't really appreciate the sighting.

Take Care and look forward to meeting you guys.

FJCowboy:
I look forward to seeing you there. Do you also shoot sporting clays? My squad may not be able to shoot this Sunday because of Mother's Day, so I may show up at 9am instead of 10am. You interested in trying sporting clays if I show you and your buddy around the course?
Louis

pm'd you my cell phone number

Cant do this weekend, and i haven't shot in a while, but please pm me the next time you guys are headed out there. How long is the ride from NW DC?

Louis, got the PM. Look forward to Sunday. Its been awhile since Sporting Clays, but I have been wanting to try the course out there.

Yukon, we will definitely setup another weekend. I'm usually out there every Sunday at 0900. Next weekend I'm out of town (camping and 4wheeling with some J**P guys down at GW Natl Forest, don't tell anyone :whoops:). Don't know about Memorial Day Weekend yet.

Either way, we should try and all get together at some point. We can either post dates and times here, PM, or email/text.

Matt

Forgot to add. For me Bull Run is about 25+/- min from Reston. Here is the link to the site and directions.
Bull Run Public Shooting Center - Hours and Directions
Basically, 66W to 29N, few miles to Bull Run Post Office, turn left, wind around, cross 66, turn left, at end of road turn right and pull into Bull Run Park. I'm sure the directions on the site are better, but that is the short version. The facilities are really nice out there. They have Skeet, Trap, Wobble Trap, Sporting Clays, Archery Range, Shotguns for Rent, Ammo, etc. Reasonable priced I think.

Good stuff. I am out of town memorial fishing in NC, but i will pm you about getting up after that.

^Hopefully eh!

Hey VA 100 people... Let's get a run together in VA... Crabtree Falls, Shoe Creek, Crozet or some other GWNF trails... I almost did Crabtree a few weeks ago but got rained out... I will likely head somewhere in VA for a "closer to home" weekend ride in the next few weeks...

Sounds good to me. I have done Taskers Gap and Peters mill and some of the offshoots there. But all of those are very mild. I would love a 100 ride. I am trying to do a weekend in June with some GWNF trails that loop into WV. A friend in CLCC had some Isuzu buddies run it a little while back, and it is supposed to be a good weekend loop, about 70 mile off road). I am waiting to here back about when, and where. I will let you know.

What are Crabtree and Shoe creek like

sorry for the hijack BTW

No problem on the Hijack, glad to see some NOVA Hundy Talk.

I'm up for the GWNF ride. I'm actually heading there next weekend with some J**P buddies, don't tell anybody.

We go twice a year, camping and wheeling. I usually just ride along, since I'm running completely stock. I'm pretty sure we did shoe creek last year. It isn't too bad. There are some switchbacks that might be tight if I remember correctly. The other portions weren't too bad. There are some rocks and deep ruts. We had a non modded J**p Rubicon and he didn't have any issues.
