Bull bars that install like the Aussie OEM Toyota "roo bar"?

Hi all,

Did some digging around on the forums for a decent bull bar and came across @luke27617 and his Australian "roo bar" setup. The benefit (besides great looks) is that it attaches to multiple points vs. just the lower tabs. (pics are his). Problem seems to be that it was a PITA to get and he needed a special connection to have it shipped to him.

Have any manufacturers come up with a similar bar with the multiple mounting points that I can get in the US for an '08-'11 LX200? Thanks fellas.

What is that intended to protect from? Dogs? Very small fawns?

Those were all the rage back in the 90s. Reminds me of the JAOS bars. The one in the picture you posted actually looks just like the one I had on my 1998 ML320 (euro version).
