I did a search and can't find it here or at 3fe list. But someone listed an inexpensive source for the 30ft of vaccume line in my 62 that I need to replace.
I believe it is the 8mm size.

I'm replacing a motor, so I figure I might as well give the old girl some new leggings.

Which tubing is best? Firm, soft or the NSF soft?

NSf is food grade, so you don't need that. For the 3mmID, I've used the soft with no issues. I also got a larger dimater for the little bit of larger ID vacuum tubing the FJ-60 has, and I think I got the hard. I thought the larger ID in the soft would collapse too easily, but I've had no indication that the 3mmID collaspes. I've had this stuff on my truck for five or six years, and there is not indication of hardening or fatigue. Silicone is the way to go...

8mm OD or ID? on the FJ-60 the primary vacuum line size is ~3mmID. I get silicone tube from Mcmaster Carr at a reasonable price. 3mmIDx2.5mmwall=8mmOD. It's at the bottom of page 98 of the catalog.

I 2nd the McMaster Carr tube - get the firm.
Redid my 60 with it and it is perfect

Cant you just head to a local parts store and get a roll of Gates hose? Be easier and not very expensive.
