Here is a lil' montage of some pics of a slow process that lead to changing my fj 45 to a diesel 45 extra cab.
The gasser was driven into a buddy's shop and by next day noon I drove it out on the new galvanized frame.
Later that night I drove it in and removed the gasser and droped in the B diesel I had kicking around welding the new mounts to the frame.

More time lead to the thought of chopping the cab and making a king cab.
In the photos there are some shots of that process.
A correction kit was added before galvanizing,
I laboured long on the length of the additiion then drafted up some details for the metal shop to produce the parts.

Later electric heated seats were added aswell as re-upholtering the bench seat.
Future plans are to add a turbo to the B motor and 33's.

Currently she has stock steering and drums all around,

I'm looking forward to driving it around town and when I can make it out to one of the Cruiser meets in town with the 45 or 42 which ever one gets done soon.

Cheers !
