You do not need to upgrade to get full pulling power...is what I am saying.

I completely agree, which is why I just upgraded my stock pump to a Saginaw unit. By doing that I was hoping that I can get the full pulling potential out of the winch, so I guess we'll see.

My hydro setup will be the Saginaw, MM Hydro winch and a hydro assist ram on the front axle. Wondering if that will work out or not:hhmm:

Specs are on the website in PDF Format. Mine fit an ARB in front and a 4x4 Labs in the back with no problems.

One question to you guys with the 10k or 12k MM Hydro winches. Can you do some measurements for me? I need the dimensions of the winch to see if it will fit in my bumper. I would like the length height and width of the winch, with or without the solenoid pack. Thanks!

Where are you guys getting your PSI output numbers from?

MM claims that all PS Pumps put out around 1,500psi and 4gpm on average.

I read somewhere on MUD that the FSM says the pump is 1,350psi Minimum which most likely means it is in the 1,500psi range.

I have not confirmed this but MM was VERY confident about the 1,500psi and 4gpm rating of the power steering pump in just about all vehicles.

From the "Service Specifications - Steering" of my 96 FSM:

Fluid pressure at idle speed with valve closed: Minimum 1351psi
