Hate to sound like a whiner :crybaby:, but I am having to cut out some fun stuff this year due to the cost of gas and everything else.

Would love to go up to Kina's and other events but man I just got no funds to be able to afford the gas. I am cutting corners wherever I can just to keep the head above water.

Finding myself riding my bike a lot more...like everyday to work.

Join the cluib. But if your looking for a cheep pasttime this one isnt it. People will find the money to wheel, but I think youll see more people going for the over night and long weekend trips insted of day trips.

same boat out here too..... Diesel just hit $5 a gallon yesterday:rolleyes:

I think I am parking the DD and gonna drive the Cruiser more. About the same milage and over $1 cheaper per gallon to fill it. I don't know if it will work out as well as it does in my head..... maybe I should buy some 30x9.5s' for her to commute with...:grinpimp:

I'm thinking about selling my 40 (again ) after fixing a few things on it. I'm already planning to dump my truck pretty soon.

got a free 95 camry from the mother in law. 32MPG is plush seat comfort. I love that thing.

A bit emasculating, however.

not as bad as the wifes old triple white cabriolet, but still......

I am only planning for a few trips this year, if I ever finish the junk. Should be finishing up the fab and welding by next weekend, so I am hopefull.

(I am going to take this opportunity to tell wildman to shut his trap with the obvious upcoming comments on my finishing the truck) :flipoff2:
