Happy New Year All. I just got off the phone with Bud regarding the TJM bumper splash/transition plate he is working on for me and I mentioned this group buy saying it was looking like he was going to get pretty good surge in skid orders from the responses to this thread. He said he has done this for a lot of years and in his experience there can often be a lot of excitement on a forum that doesn't always translate into actual orders. He was not being negative or really even doubtful but he's not counting chickens before they hatch. I thought I'd just mention that and encourage everyone who has signed up to follow through and show that the 200 crowd is different from the average car forum crowd.

How's the transition plate coming along?

I'd be all over your group buy, but I already own all of that Budbuilt gear. If I'd known, I would have postponed ordering my sliders (second set I've bought from them on two different 200s), but life goes on. They just arrived the other day.

Bud said he’s worked out some things on paper and has a 200 on the lift now getting skids so he will be able to dial it in some and make a prototype. He’ll call me later this week to discuss what he’s come up with.

I’d have jumped on the group buy too if I didn’t already have the skids.
