Yeah, her falling asleep on the trail was a definite wtf moment. I was worried about scaring her and looked over and she was just out.

From the axle truss. I'd say 62, but from the lack of leads, and that bottom
Arm thing, I'd say 80 series. It's from 08. I'm not well versed in Taco. Was this body style not around, I'm almost sure it was, or is it the solid axle that's the main concept. I like regardless.

I yea I think that body style came out in 04 or 05 and is the same one we see today, however the paint, interior, front grille, rims, and of course the SFA was part of the concept
Why cant toyota actually build a truck with a solid front axle? I would be all over one... in about 10 years second hand.

I stumbled on it a while back as well I think it would be a big seller throw in a diesel option and you have a perfect daily driver and weekend warrior. Cetainly marketable in other countries as well, hell Australia is still getting all the solid axle gems we can't get our hands on

Yeah, was watching it, kinda question their placement of the storeage boxes and not sure what I think of their CamLok fluid storage. Plus with the way their roof rack is mounted to the bed cage I would be willing to bet they are gonna get some roof dents.
But still i like it. Stuff like that is whats making me think about a truck next time instead of a 4runner again.

Cool looking build. I like the cam lok storage but it doesn't look like those jugs carry much liquid......maybe 2.5 gallons each? I think the flat Rotopax that can be stacked is a better option.
I hope they get it at least a foot lower by the time it's done.

It is with much sorrow that I report the death of my uncle, Paul McIlhenny. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday morning. He was the person who first exposed me to Land Cruisers. I bought my first TLC from him in 1990. It was an FJ60.
Aside from him being the reason I become a TLC fan, he had a tremendous influence on my life. He will be missed by all that knew him and especially his family.
In light of this, it will be a while before I try to put together our trip out to Avery Island. I trust you all will understand.
