My BJ came in last night, so I'll be filling up with diesel at the TA this morning and camping at the DMV. I'll be MIA for a while....1991-1992 FJ80 = FJ62

Glad to hear it Mike now all the worries are over. Time to enjoy :) I usually hate dealing with the DMV but the preparation paid off this time I was in and out in an hour. I hope it goes well for you.

I wonder if Jason got his today I would have thought they were on the same truck.

Rebecca called and said she just read a feature on the club in the Acadiana Gazette. Good work Marty. If somone has it scan and post, if no I'll scan and post it tonight. I like to keep our writings that go public on the website as well.

In the Times this week Bryan Lafaye also a member has a write up on art in Opelousas Page 39. I need to reply and ask him to drop in and say hello.

Awesome, congratulations!

I got mine today too :bounce:
Only doing one bounce cause I also got the stomach flu too :crybaby: I will post some pictures tomorrow when Im not feeling delirious, hopefully.

I won't be able to drive it till I get a few things done. I am waiting for the title, receipt, etc to come in the mail so I can register
I gotta fix the brake light switch (seller included a new one)
I had it running for a little bit, runs good. I am not sure if the temp gauge is working or not.

We still got those Advance (or was it O'reily?) auto parts discount cards?:D

Thats awesome Jason, sorry to hear you're under the weather and can't enjoy it hope you get to feeling better. I have two little ones sick as well some bad stuff going around. I look forward to seeing the pics. Yes you have O'Reilly and Musson discounts and for Musson stuff we can work to get it to you. I've ordered all kind of stuff from them this week Ricky and Harold are really good to work with.

My camera is messing up, I got two teaser pics.

Keep'em coming Jason, post it in the pic of your rig thread. :bounce: Hope you feeling better :)

It looks beastly Jason! (In a good way) Congratulations!

Congrats Jason... out of all of us, I can't think of anyone that deserves that moster than you... Someone that never complains, always is there, always shotgun, spotting etc...

We're happy for you.

Man I laughed my butt of earlier. Hummer has a new comercial showing all these headlines about storms and huricains, and in between all the disaster they have shippets of news print with stuff like "local hummer owners coming to help" "Rescueing people trapped in high water" and then a picture of an H2 with the headline "Purpose Built" Under it.

More like purpose built to go to the mall and burn fuel. I would be willing to bet 90% of the people that buy hummers (being generous here) Wouldnt have a clue what to do if they where to try and rescue people. then they would ahve to go and br rescued by people with real rigs.

90% of the Hummers driving around are not real Hummers. Cheap knock off Suburban frames with a hummer looking body. There is a kid driving around Lafayette Hummer knock off with a tailgate on it that says Bummer, you got that right. They should all say that at least he's honest. In a few years used car lots are going to be full of those things, the Rap crowd will buy them up and put 24's and gorillas in the trunk then sell them because they can't afford the fuel.

Just venting, did you ask me what I thought about Bummers

Not to be confused with the real military Hummer. They're very capable and durable to say the least.
