When I talked to Daniel at Wimberly 4x4 he was pumped about the crawfish boil that Mike invited him to. He couldn't stop talking about eating crawfish. Sounds like him and my dad are going to convoy in their 40's. I wish my camera was working at the time, I could have got some real cool pics of his place.

Mike, when Daniel was looking over your old truck he was very impressed with the work that you have done to it. He said he wasn't a fan of EFI because they all hesitated. I handed him the keys and he quickly changed his mind. He said he had never drove one that was EFI moded like yours. Pretty big words from a cruiser FREAK like Daniel. We could have talked for weeks about cruisers, his Passion is defiantly a serious sickness. Great guy.

...and so ask him if he has any trail rigs for sale over there ...no ...really :steer:

:grinpimp:

I'll post for both of you :D

Mike: So how's the lift looking Scott?

Scott: Looking good but I need some tires now.

Larry: Scott the lift is looking good, glad to see you got rid of the grenade but it looks to puiny sittiing on those little street tires to ride in the parade.

Scott: :flipoff2:

Speaking of absent....Someone has to test the articulation and overall feel and look of the Troopy lift...might as well be me....since I've been around checking on her....;p

Every 40 that I've owned like to lean...in fact, there was a TSB on it along with correction, etc...way back in the day...just a cruiser thing...no biggie. As far as those huge anti-inversion shackles hitting the propane tank...you could just weld the third pin in the middle, but the triangular point of the inner part of the shackle would still hit upon lots of flex/compression...or make into regular HD shackle by cutting/tacking...either way would likely work...your not going to be able to move the tank anywheres...unless rotated lengthwise...maybe you could just get a slightly smaller tank?

:meh:

On the back, opposite the tire carrier, cops would see your license plate showing you are from L.A. and think you are just going to a crawfish boil.

Seriously, My muffler is mounted in that area and I think one day it is definitely going to get damaged by rocks. Like Mike said, maybe smaller.

Happy Birthday Marty
