Sorry didnt see this message while I was home.

With how my truck has been behaving I didnt think it would be best to get on the highway with it. Looks like everyone had a blast though.

Getting all the shrouds and parts to put a mechanical fan back on it, and removed the AC condencer so I am moving the electri fan around to the front. I hope this solves my overheating issue.

BTW, our junior high team is pretty darn good. I've enjoyed coaching them.

i'll know if his class is really missing his talent when basketball season rolls around. Gunner's class is EXTREMELY talented and competitive and he was one of the key guys. He was like that in the classroom too. We lost a good one when they moved. I wish him and his family the best though!

Yea that's what it looks like. I could not keep the eyes open after the half. It's been 103 degrees here and that takes alot out of person all day in that heat. I can safely say that I am a redneck.:mad:

The shirts are in and Jeff Murrah (Bodean) of CottonLand Cruisers did an awesome job. They look even better than last go round. My hat's off to him.

If you ordered some... they're in... if not, we have some extras. Will be bringing them to the meeting and wrenching session at Landry's.

I actually started to order an XXXL for me and didn't do it.. (I like the shirts big). I don't have any bud. Think this order went out just before you came back from the dead brother.

i out grew xxl a long time ago! no my interest was getting some hooded sweats made. you can get some really nice plain ones at champs in the mall. i wasn't trying to side step the process or chain of command on this. i just thought we could get the sweats up to him during SCC freight free and he could just screen them and send them back. what do you think? i alredy asked him to do me some of them other toyota land cruiser shirts with the 4wd design on a hoodie he said bring up the sweats....just an idea for the club. hooded sweats at champs 14.99 and what ever he will charge to screen them...
 
No worries.. never thought you were trying to "side-step" and appreciate any input anyone has to offer.

Bring Jeff the shirts but something else to keep in mind is that he has the ability to get some of that material very very discounted ;)

Ok gang... what's the plan for everyone this weekend???

I hope to get a little Troopy work done:

1. wash
2 coat of wax to protect it
3. wire wheel rust spots/prime
4. fix the oil sending unit ONCE AND FOR ALL!
5. measure and redo wire/terminals to battery.
6. put together stuff for the blaster (wagon wheels, tool box from the 79, new front clip)

7. prolly deliver a couple of shirts ...lol. ;)


I just hope to get at least something done... wife, kids etc... It's always a mystery if any work will get done.

if you need help i am avail and live on the cruiser corridor (hwy92 just westside of da vermillion) love to see you truck!

i guess i will pm bodean and see, but he was really cool and open about it.
 
Take the Karate kid to class in the a.m., chores I didn't get done last weekend during the day. Yard work if the rain will hold off. Unpacking from last weekend. Unbolt the roll bar and attempt to straighten it and wash and wax it if time. Hopefully sit down to some football in the evening and off to the WWII museum in New Orleans Sunday.

If I get all that done, I'll be in good shape. :D

I'll have to split some of it b/w Sat and Sun... gotta leave out ~4pm 2morrow and then there's the game....lol.

You can PM him w/o worries... great guy. I only meant that if you don't find the stuff you want I promise he can find it cheaper.

We'll be looking into winter stuff as well.

Talked to the wife and she said a small box came in. Sounds like the locker is here. Gasket ordered need to get that from Musson when I get in. Ordering the winch today. New shoes for the cruiser will be done when I get in. I still have not seen a bill for a new sofa yet, so I'm kinda getting scared. I guess she has to have her fun also. One more week in the 104 deg weather and back to the humidity and rain. Hope to see ya'll at the meeting.
