Dad put in the Durabak this weekend. He did a good job, but he said he should have bought a second gallon. At a $144 a gallon thats a $300 liner. I plan to order the red and do it this winter.

wow $300  how much is it to get a professionally sprayed Line-X liner?

rig looks good though. is the engine bay lined too?

Yea, a bit pricy $144 a gallon but from the articles and folks on Mud its a good product. Last I heard to have it Line-X'd it was $450 or so from the firewall back. In Dads case he's in the Mountains and would have to tow it to Knoxville which he wasn't interested in doing. What you see above is one gallon, but he's going to buy a second. He said if they offered it in half gallons that would be perfect as he said you really need 1 1/2 gallons to do a good job. He's also doing the running boards and will have extra maybe for the inner fenderwells. As for the firewall and bottom of the tub is all POR15. :)

Peacock Bass

Moved here from the Southern Cruiser Crawl thread:

I think I'd go for Peacock Bass fishing...got my fly rod ready...

Amen brother! Check out http://thedragonflylodge.com/ A friend of mine has been down there (Patagonia) and had nothing but great things to say. It is very remote and very pristine. There aren't any peacock bass but plenty of river/stream trout. It's the perfect place for that new fly rod. Take your time going through the site. I guarantee it'll make it on your list of places you want to visit one day.

Super Stop...

Ok, let me be the first to thank Chip Jones for his sponsorship to the BSLCA this pm. Chip donated the crawfish to us at his cost for the crawfish boil and wrote a very nice check to the BSLCA today. He doesn't even OWN a cruiser. He owns the "Super Stop" Cheveron on the corner of Verot and Fortune Road.

He has an awesome deli w/ pizza made there, hot tamales, plate lunches and soon to be expanding.

Sooo... if you guys are in the area or the New Iberia boys head out of town, stop by, fill up, buy a coke or a water and tell Chip, "Thanks" for all of us.

Thanks much to you Chip

Perhaps getting them to come to the southwest corner of the state is like getting us to go to the northeast corner....I don't know...

I do plan to pass that way more often....and I look forward to thanking Chip.

Who? You being a smart ass Landry? :flipoff2:

Let me go stir some sh** and see what happens. I see LaJeepers just about every day now. She said that it was still on even though LA 4x4 scheduled a ride at Sicily. I need to call Josh to finish my Expo article, but he was one of the key guys saying AWOL would support Jeepers on their run. They might still be in.

No smart ass here bud, :whoops: they do like you. Just look at my posts in there. I tried bumping the thread for some feedback twice and they never reply to my posts. I have Josh and her number somewhere I'll send it to you.

I saw the post and Geaux Turbo already replied about putting it on the calendar but La Jeepers needs to respond and solidify this. I'll make it happen Cap'n.

You the man bud.

I'm curious to know "WHY?"

BTW, I received my 50th Anniversary book today. I was blown away. How can someone have this book and never open it???? Blew my mind. Mint condition. Even the protective paper and all. What an awesome book. If you haven't seen this, you have to see it. It's remarkable. It even has a chapter on the Bandeirantes, etc. I would like to bring it to Larry's for the Wrenching session.
