Don't honestly know if you were referring to my rant post.. but I decided to delete it. Mud makes me happy and all warm inside ...lol... I come here to get away from that crap!
...to make a very very long story short, myself and 3 friends were trying to purchase an AWESOME piece of land close to my work and close enough to schools. Well, in the commission meeting, folks from the adjacent neighborhood showed up in droves, not so much to bitch about our plans, but b/c they were bitchin about their current drainage problems. Now, we won't impact that at ALL b/c our piece was only 14 lots and the smallest was still about 2 acres. We also have a pond to retain runoff. We leave tons of the ground's natural ability to absorb runoff as well. In the end, there were only 2 commissioners that showed up besides the chairman and one of them has NEVER served before last night. ...well he made a motion "...to just table it until next month". That would be dandy except our due diligence period expires this Wednesday. ...yeah, I'm still a little pissed (now where am I going to put a shop??..lol). It's a volunteer position and you get what you pay for in life.
...and this has a little to do w/ the 40 that I had said I would buy through mud and found out he sold it on ebay
let's get on w/ the fun.
Would they let you turn that property into an ORV park?

I sure have missed a lot in two days. Sounds like I need to say a prayer for a fellow tlc brother, organize my cajun mafia brethren to help out a needy developer, and get the OK to release few "incriminating" pics. I'll start working on that after I write a reference strong enough to get Cole a job with the Secret Service. I'm gonna be busy.
