Side Note.... Unregistered Guests..

I lost a set of sweeet rear 1/2 doors by $5 at the last minute. ..and that's why they say, "...put the maximum you're willing to pay". However, how many items that you've lost you wouldn't pony up an additional $1.00 or $5.00. It just sucks ....esp to lose in the last minute. Nicest set of doors, intact, no real rust, hinges etc.. that I've seen for some time.
I just wanted to whine and vent/rant a bit... lol
Every time I say that I'll NEVER go back, they list something I want. Like an addiction.

Just an FYI: The Acadiana Amateur Radio Club has a meeting next Thursday, June 7. If anyone is thinking about getting their Ham license some day, these are the guys that can help us get them. Let me know if anyone is interested in going to check it out.

So we didn't make the Ramble...
We did manage to catch the Astro's for the boy's birthday present... Good trip, he and Rob, a friend, had a great time:
Hotel: "Inn at the Ballpark"... awesome place to stay. Literally across the street
View from hotel window: Minute Maid Park
On the way:
Good seats:
Opening up the lid for fireworks after the game:
Lights out for fireworks:
Hit the Aquarium the next day:
Lewis and Clark:
no likie the tall rides:
Awesome day:

Good pictures bud, and looks like it was a great time. A special outing with the wife and family beats out the ramble anytime and I'm sure it made the boys day.
Looks like Houston was a hit with the boy. I couldn't help but notice that he was sporting a BSLCA hat in a few pics and a BSLCA T-Shirt in a few others. I get the feeling he's "hooked."
