Damn thats a cattle guard  I have to say I like the new style better its functional and I like the hoops between the bumper and fender. With a bumper like that old style who needs chainsaws on the trail we'll just follow you my friend you can clear the path. Hell we can build you one like the old style Mike. Drive down to percy guidry and get you some pipe we'll pin up the picture and have at it. I understand as no one wants a beep like bumper on their cruiser but honestly how many different versions of bumpers can you actually have before they are all similar.

I read on the 60s forum that those bumpers are to knock down kangaroos if they get in your way (I'm laughing my a$$ off just reading what I wrote). And supposedly the new design is a more roo-friendly design that is supposed to knock them over the hood instead of under your rig where they will likely die. Is that BS (I'm still laughing imagining dudes in the outback needing this design) or true?

Link not working bud. :)

Sorry, thanks. It was working when I put it in the original thread. They must have taken it down. They used to sell the old ARB bar... no longer. This is their site: http://www.torasport.com/store/home.php

Funny thing is that another person posted in the thread of where to find them below mine. It seems to be deleted for "security reasons" ...lol.

I'm for squashing them (rather them under me than on my hood) as they're not an endangered species and my rig is

Yep, and if you hit it hard enough, the driver and front seat passenger get the brunt of that roo coming through the windshield. But the kangaroo probably lives.

They look cool no matter what. Strong too. I haven't come across too many kangaroos or cows for that matter on my trek home to Youngsville, but I'd still want one on just in case a freak occurance does happen.

Marty do you have any pictures of Buddy's bumper to show them. I accidentally deleated mine. i believe it was made by Percy Guidry's.

I could think of a few folks I'd like to have that bumper for ...just in case :D

where do you guy order your tires from? i need a set of interco trxus tires by next week

Wow... next week.

I got mine in Opelousas for a "cash deal"

A few guys here shop Sam's for them. Good prices and free shipping.

Good luck

I went to Interco themselves in Rayne (just outside Lafayette). I couldn't find a better deal anywhere (on Swampers that is). They have pretty good deals on other tires too, but they sold me a set for around 300 bucks less than others quoted me. A little drive, but direct from the manufacturer worked for me.

If you choose to get them from Interco we can save you shipping and pick them up for you and bring them to the Musson meet but that wouldn't help you for next week.
