4 out of the 8 rigs at Sicily Island had dual winches serious folks don't play around they can winch up or backwards. Thats the kinda folks you want to be in the middle of on the trail.

Anyway updat on the tubs...
Called CCOT. No idea of prices and there is no "list" to sign up if you want one. They will email you when they arrive, however. ....but that exact date is not known either.
... did anyone really learn anything from that??

I think I would love to do this swap into a 40 one day. I'd like to see one installed and run the trails first. I've read that these engines can be pretty loud in an fj40 and that they are pretty hard on automatic trannys.

Yep, I've seen them blow up auto transmissions on new trucks right off the lot. This was two years ago as they may have fixed it by now. Some of Dodge/Chyrsler success lately is due to the help of Mercedes parts and drivetrain. They are using Mercedes trannies in the Chargers/300/Magnum/Sprinter Van to name a few. The 5 Spd behind the cummins with a nice toy box, or Atlas would be the ticket.
