Ditto! One way to show our thanks is to be there for them on the 26th! I'm trying to drop cards on every Cruiser that I see to get some folks going.

I'm on the same mission, I'm also going to call both Miles and the other guy who has the Marron 40 that girl is always driving. I saw her again coming in from Mississppi on LA Avenue. I'd like them to bring their rigs there even if they put a 4-Sale sign on them.

Guess who I just ran into in my front yard? Mark Jacobson. Owner of a nice green original FJ40. I met him last year in New Iberia, but turns out he lives across the road from me. He and family were out riding bikes. Saw me in my front yard with the Land Cruisers and stopped for a nice chat. Filled him in on all the club details and Musson Patout info, etc.

I think Rebeca must have given him a card already. At any rate, he was a pleasure to talk to. He said he'd definately be in touch.

Mike

Edit: Just wanted to add that if we each brought just ONE NEW cruiser and made it OUR responsibility to remind that person and aid in every fashion in getting them there (26th), we'd easily double or triple our presence.

I was preaching the benefits of throat yogurt way back in the day before I even met my wife. BTW, the webpage/article is a fake(saw this one years ago). However, its message is true!

....lol... Ok back to family programing...

Yeah, I saw it some time back but had a buddy bring it to me printed last night and ask was it true. I thought I saw a tear roll out of his eye when I busted it. :crybaby: (However, I'm sure the :princess: will get a different version of what I said).

Here's the link to login your order at my database for the Pakistan Soft Top. To go directly to the item, click the link below or paste it into your web browser. At the login page you will not need a user id or password to access the database to enter your order. Follow the instructions in the login page to enter as a guest.

https://global-ims.webexone.com/r.asp?a=920336&vid=20646

PS: I do not have time to log in your order for you. Please do not email your order to me. Post your questions or problems on this thread for everyone to share on my answers as best I can.

If every one agrees, we can set the deadline to enter your order at May 31, 2007. We can close the order list after and I would collect the payments from everyone before forwarding order to Eshan.

To view the status of the order list, bookmark the following URL:

www.global-ims.intranets.com

and, again, use the "Enter as a Guest" link located in the lower left hand of the login page.

Good Luck,
Ricardo

I was wondering if anyone in the club is interested in joining the purchasing group gathering orders for one of Ehsan's Soft Tops made in Pakistan. The links to my order-gathering databse are listed above and the IH8Mud thread is called "Pakistan Soft Top from Ehsan" The purchasing group will be closed to new orders on May 31st, then there will be a window of 15 days to collect the funds and finalize the order for release to Ehsan. We have nine orders logged. More orders result in cheaper costs of shipping.

Post your questions on the soft top thread for everyone else on the buying group to see.

Thanks,
Ricardo

Thanks much Ricardo. Yep, I'm still interested. I just don't know that I'll do it for the time being w/ all of the other projects I have lined up. I'd also very much like the the Hard 1/2 doors w/ the soft uppers. I also need to go back and check the threads for prices....didn't see em as of my last check.

Back roads

This weekend I took the back roads home after leaving Butte Larose and our fishing tournament. I haven't driven that route in a long time. If you haven't, I think you should. That's some pretty country out there. That road along the levee is very nice now that it is repaved and in great shape. The scenery is nice too. I also took Hwy. 96 through Catahoula down to St. Martinville then Hwy. 31 to New Iberia. If you get a chance, explore that route. One of these days we need to think up a fun run like that - maybe after a meeting or something.

From the sound of it, offroading opportunities are starting to come available. Let's not forget the paved paths in this state. There is some pretty landscape out there and it's not too far from our back doors.

I don't know if any of you have any feeling on this but if you do here is a link. http://savethehorsefarm.com/ My office window looks out on this place the last 6 years. I'd love to see it made a park as it gives me peace to look out in the middle of all this crap to see such a nice place. Next time I drive the cruiser this way I'm going to find a way in the fence to take some pictures of the cruiser in front of the barn as they have started tearing some of it up.

I see Thad signed the petition as well.

FYI, The old barn is no more. :frown:
