Bruised Knuckles

Decided to finally rebuild the knuckles....

Started around 9:00, on my day off. Then got a call from my irate boss - he fired me.

Everything is going well...so far the biggest batch was getting the bearing cap/shim plate off of the knuckle. Broke out the BFS (big fckn' screwdriver) and she popped right off.

I fingured that I'd check the Birf also - what's the size of the snap ring on the outer axle that's inside of the Birf.

I measured with my SAE calipers and came out with .90 " - 22 MM?

It's Friday night at 6:00 - I'm finished up for the night. Probably Vatozone or NAPA? for the snap rings (2) one for each side.

Honestly, I don't know what happened man.

We went from a friendly relationship to this in a day. The knuckles are a nice way to get some frustration out.

Don't know the size, but the Toyo part # is 90520-28036 & 90520- 27091 (outer)

Maybe they can cross-reference.

I'm not sure anyone is going to know the size of that snap ring. I think but am not certain, that it is the same size as the one on the other end of the axle...that goes thru the spindle. I think I would just take the axle with me to Napa It's prety important for it to be the correct size.
