Your truck looks great! I live in arlington, Va. I am eyeing a low mileage one owner 2000 lx470 with only 72k miles for $16k. Looks super pristine. There seem to be cheaper ones around but they have nearly double the miles....

If I pick one up i'd love to meet up and see what the S/C setup is about....still going back and forth on if I want to buy a 100 series already built or not.

That's about what I paid for mine with 87K, but it had the BIOR sliders, front bumper and dual battery setup, so pretty equivalent. If you build it yourself, you will have more fun, and IPOR is just down the road in Fredericksburg. I'll show you the SC anytime you are ready.

Thanks for the information Louis. I sent you a PM. I have a feeling that on a 100 series I will want the s/c as I would be coming from an e60 Lemon5...whoops I mean M5

Looks great. Keep up the good work!!

It will take a lot more than a SC to come anywhere close to the e60. The LC should make up for what it lacks in acceleration with far better reliability than the Bimmer.

That is my exact thought...The idea is buy a cream puff LX/LC with less than 100k miles to drive day to day for a long time and buy another weekend toy sometime down the road. I have read mixed reviews on the LX470 adjustable suspension in terms of reliability, but I figure worse come to worse I could replace with aftermarket if the struts go :)
