Hi everyone,
So I recently noticed the hood of my 2000 Hilux Surf rattling/shaking a bit more than normal during usual driving. I was worried that maybe the font clasp wasn't on properly, so I decided to check it out.
When I lifted the hood, the drivers side (right hand side) hinge or support arm or whatever is is called appeared to not be conencted at all, and it was difficult to allign the hood to get it closed again.
It turns out that the little metal arm that connects it to the car itself is broken clean across on that side......... I have NEVER seen something like this before, so I would appreciate any possible advice about fixing this. Would I have to get it welded? See the pic below. (sorry about the crappy night shot, but I can try to take some more later today in better light.
Thanks
