Has anyone here run Broken Arrow at night?

Just wondering I'm heading back up to Sedona in June and was wondering if anyone has done it. Going down the steps at night would be fun :p.

( will be running Oak Creek Homestead and Smiley Rock)

Why not do it in the day and just close your eyes?

Why not UP the steps at night--that's what we do! ;):D

Yes, BA is great on summer nights, in fact, I will be setting up a full-moon run in May, and maybe again in June.

Be warned--if you don't know that trail extremely well, it is easy to get lost up there at night. I know seasoned tour guides that got lost up there.

Happy trails!

That sounds really cool! I want to go! I hope you keep us informed.

LOL

Nena, check the AZXC HOMEPAGE, May 18th it's on..

My concern would be that area by right before the step. I've lost the tracks there before.
That is one of several places where people get lost at night.

May 18--I may be in Big Bear that weekend. We often run our full moons a few days before the actual full moon, that way it is nice and high in the sky as soon as it's dark.

Nice tip, thank you. :)
