Guys -

I apologize, I've yet to make one of the Thursday meetings. It never seems to work out and I'm about one hour away. How has the turnout been? Do you think there are enough people to do the formal TLCA thing? Do you guys want to do the TLCA stuff? I'm undecided myself. I'm looking for the additional benefit of forming an official chapter as opposed to just having an informal group of common enthusiasts without any paperwork. Maybe we should plan a date that nearly everyone can attend. That way we could get together and discuss? Maybe a wheeling trip preceeded by a meeting?

Thoughts?

I'm all for it but someone has to take the initiative to make the plans. I don't know what day or location would work for everyone. Attendence at the informal meetings hasn't been great but at least the same 4 or 5 guys always show up. I just wish the people who go to the meetings would actually go wheeling.

I want to go to the Flat Nasty run on the 17th and/or 18th. It really sucks that we have not been able to get out with you guys yet but hopefully things are all good for a while now with the engine completely rebuilt. I'm almost afraid of making plans because everything for the last six months has been kind of screwed up.
As far as the TLCA group is concerned I am already a member due to becoming a member of the Hoosier Cruisers, it was a requirement with them.

Oh man, I'm hurt :crybaby: really (sniff).

I know I missed the last meeting, but I really was having a ton of problems following my shoulder surgery (and still having a few). I'm on my way back though, and I'll be at Flat Nasty yet again on May 17th (though I'll be going down really early b/c I have to leave early to make a scheduled event back here - better than not going at all though). Oh yeah, Dan will be there with his invisible J**p (or so I'm told).

I've got all the requirements for forming a local TCLA chapter and I know we already have enough people who are TCLA members to meet the simple requirements. I've already drafted some rough documents just in case there was ever enough interest to do it. Pretty simple, we just need a few people willing to be officers and get things organized (and keep them organized). I've already decided I don't have enough reliable free time to be one of those people, but I'm happy to help get it going.
