G'day everyone,

Thought I'd start a thread and share some of the trips iv been on throught South Australia.

The first lot of pic's are from a place called Argedels station in the Flinders Rangers in SA. The property is set on about 8000 acers and showcases some of the stunning scenery the flinders are renowned for. The tracks aren't difficult as such, a few steep climbs and decents and a few small creek crossing's here and there but the scenery is stunning.

Cool pics regardless of the order! Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming!

Cheers,,yep ok here's some more.

These next set of pic's are from a place called Little dip conservation park which is situated on the lower south eastern corner of South Australia.

Little dip lies between two towns known as Robe and Beachport, Robe to the NW and Beachport to the SE. The tracks thru this area are predominantly sand being long beach runs and sections thru , behind and over vegetated sand dunes.

The driving can be easy or hard depending on the time of year, summer is generally harder dur to the sand being drier and more soft and fluffy, winter normally the sand is firmer due to more moisture in the sand firming it up somewhat,,in saying that winter usually brings bigger sea's meaning less beach to drive on and steeper angles to negotiate aswell.

Many a 4wd has been lost on the beaches down there which kinda adds to the attraction and challenge of the place and attracts many off roaders to the area to challenge themselves and their trucks.

Its a fantastic area and one of my favorite places to go 4wding . Being 4hrs from Adelaide its not to far for a long weekend but even better if you have a week uo your sleve to play with.

Here's a few pic's of the area.

Hopes Gully.
Hopes Gully or hopes as we call it is a working sheep and pig property of 4000 acers located in the SE region of the flinders rangers.
Not only is it a great livestock property its also a fantastic area to go 4wding with tracks ranging from mallee scrub flat lands, moderate hill climbs and decents and some of the best technical creekbed driving in the state of SA.

Hopes has 2 main camping areas with good shade trees but no fascilites or running water so you need to be fairly self sufficent for your stay.

Here's a few pic's.

Jakom farm.
Jakom is a 360 acer property located near a small town called Callington which is located about 40mins ESE of Adelaide.

The tracks are a range of easy to moderate but with 1 or 2 harder sections thrown in just to keep you on your toes.
There's a couple of creek crossings, 1 in particular can be a bit nasty normally requiring 35+tyres and twin locks to get thru.

The property is only open from the beginning of autuam to the end of spring, closed thru summer due to heat and potential fire risk from hot exhaust's on the dry grasses.

Anyway here's a few pic's.
