So, I was thinking it was time to break in the new truck and was curious as to whether anyone might be up for a little Snow/Trail Run on Saturday, January 15th? We don't have to get too crazy, not even sure we can get anywhere with the amount of snow we have now, but I would like to get the new truck out and get it dirty. Gotta see how it will do in the rough stuff. :steer:

Besides, I will need someone to help pull me out.:flipoff2:

Let me know if anyone else is up for it and we will figure out where to give it a go.

Jumbo...may Truckee area...?

As much as I like Jumbo since it's close to my house, it might not be the best place for a rig with good paint.

Well, after much discussion, I think we might postpone this little trip. Too much snow up high, so I don't think we will make it very far. That will leave only the valleys and unless someone has a good suggestion, I think postponing is the best course.

I was just watching the weather forecast...

Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow and more Snow.... I think we might just have to set up a snow run to a destination on a plowed road in North Shore. If we catch it early we might have to strap you to the top of Mt. Rose...

I'd always be up for a Nightingale run. Or something that goes across the top of Washoe, up by Gerlach. Maybe even an overnighter if we can plan ahead that far. I have next Monday off for the Holiday, so maybe something can be worked out.

We tentatively planned a N Washoe run for the end of the month at the last club meeting.

Sounds good to me. As soon as we get a time and place, I'll run it by the boss.

If its a trail my 4runner and 33s can do, count me in.
