I'm starting this thread so we can start the discussion about breakfast on the same day we're planning a trail ride to GWNF.

The "usual" CLCC month-end breakfast coincides with the trail ride. The question is do we want to have the "usual" month-end breakfast in the beltway area (Anita's), or do we want to have a breakfast somewhere along the route to GWNF, either in Warrenton, Gainesville, Front Royal, Edinburg, etc.

Reason I ask, is I have a friend from work who recommended breakfast at a place in Front Royal, Mom's Country Kitchen, located off the Linden exit on I-66 (HWY 55--John Marshall Hwy).

Breakfast

Another place to consider is Big and Lil D's diner in Strasburg. Not too far off the first 81 exit after you get off of 66. Great prices, awesome food. Talked to her this morning and she said if I called the day before, she would make sure she would have an extra person there to cook, to help us eat and get on the road as fast as possible.

still going to Mom's Country Kitchen?

Yeah, breakfast at Mom's Country Kitchen in Front Royal. We'll make the other place some other time.
