I have noticed over the last few days that when starting my LC for the first time, the first few times I apply the brakes they make a loud squeaking sound. This goes away after the first few applications, then returns again the next time I start the vehicle. The brake pads are fairly new (done about 10K miles ago) and I don't hear that metalic clicking noise anyway - more of a loud squeak or two when first applied and that's it. Any ideas what it coud be (and more importantly, is it something to be concerned about?)

Did you replace the anti-squeal shims at the same time as the pads and put disc brake grease on the shims? I get the feeling the shims are an overlooked detail, as they are sold separately from the pads. With my honda, the shims come w/ the pads.
