Dumb question, I know my pads are worn and ordered new ones for the front (rear are fine), but rotors, do you just check for grooves, signs of wear and thickness and then replace?

Mic it out to see if you still have enough thickness, I can check my manual if you don't have one for the minimum required. I upgraded to the DBA's (I think) and some 100 series pads and had a noticeable improvement. My rotors were under the required spec so I tossed them. If you haven't felt your pedal pulsing then I wouldn't worry about them being warped. You can pull them and turn them if you still have enough left on them but not sure if that's necessary I have heard people debate it both ways.

Thanks, Yes, I have the specs and will check. No pulsing and actually breaks still well (IMO). When I got the new tires mounted they mentioned they were pretty low.... now getting some squeal when braking. Heard the same thing on the turning.

Ty, I don't know if your rig uses the same rotor as a '62 but if they do I have a brand new one in a box somewhere if you want it.

Don't think it will work, but I will double check. Pretty especially on the 93+ they went to a larger rotor hence have to run 16"+ wheels.

Thanks

I am a mechanical god!

Replaced the pads. Rotors still within spec. Squeal gone. :)

Old pads were ummmm....... not much left.... if anything......
