I tried the old pump and release method to bleed my soft pedal and only got slightly better
Had to use brake fluid pumped through under pressure and hey presto got a nice hard pedal, must have been a small airlock somewhere

ok thanks but have used a mityvac and no joy

I had the same issues. Suction bleeders did not work.
I made my own pressure bleeder. General instructions were Google-able.
Pressure bleeder's master cylinder "cap" is just a plate of 6mm aluminium tapped to accept pipe/hose fittings. Sheet rubber for gasket.
An adjustable strap holds the whole mess tight onto the master.

One thing I thought might help was to get the arm of the LSPV gizmo on the rear axle free and work it up and down while bleeding fluid.
This made no difference for my truck.

ok thanks for that i was guna try and crak the bleeder at the rear axle gizmo have not bled from there yet cheers

hi all just a final post to this problem in case it helps anybody in the future..had a mate of mine check it out as i was against the wall and he discovered the wheel bearings had play [even tho had previously replaced them had not quite snugged them up enuf] so he adjusted them prob only half a turn and then quickly bled the front brakes and wow solid as. the stopping power is now awesum and all workin well so the little movement cos the bearings not tite was not allowing the brakes to be properly bled !! i was so happy as would have never come to that conclusion on my own cheers
