I have been trying to figure out why when braking my truck pulls to the right???? I have a new master cyl. and have bled all four courners and the LSVP (acronymn for??) and adjusted the rear drums twice.
Any suggestions?? Possible wheel cylinder??
Thanks.

LSPV - load sensing proportioning valve.

Your brake discs may be glazed.

Brakes pulling to the right : right brakes (front or back) 'sticking - working too good'

OR

left side not working very well .

If pull is hard (almost two hands to keep 'er straight) then probably front; if pull is soft ( few fingers on wheel to correct) could be rear.

ALSO check tire air pressure - all 4 tires the same ? A soft (softer than other 3) tire will cause a drift-to-one-side-when-breaking . . .

Sand on - Sand off

I will try the sand paper Mr. Miagi.

My guess is that I contaminated my front disc's when I rebuilt my knuckles. I cleaned with brake cleaner but there may have still been something on the disc.

A couple of other things that can cause brakes to pull...

1. Alignment out of whack.

2. Frozen/sticking piston in caliper

Balance

also wheel balance too. After what I suspect was a dodgy balance job, i pulled all the little weights off and my truck stopped pulling to the right (under heavy braking).
I do have new BFG All Terrains with only 3K on them. It would be worth a trip down to get them rotated and balanced.

Some simple things to check -
a) Make sure the rear drums are properly adjusted
b) Make sure the calipers and pistons of the brakes are not frozen
c) Bleed the brakes
d) Make sure the tires are properly inflated
e) Make sure the alignment is set correctly
And lastly, drive on a flat level road to test the brakes!

Good luck !
