My 88 Land Cruiser has been sitting for about 2.5 years and I went to move it, the brake felt very stiff and didn't stop as fast as it should.
My thought is the rubber seal on the calipers may be dry or needs to be lubed.
Is there an easy fix to this or do I need to replace the calipers or is there a kit with just gaskets that I could replace instead?

A few things to check:
Rotors are probably rusted. Drive 'em a bit, and the brake pads will clean them up (unless they are very rusted).

A piston may have become frozen into the caliper. I haven't had much luck fixing this, have had to resort to a new caliper.

Brake booster might be going?

Make sure the parking brake isn't stuck on. The mechanism has a tendency to rust up.

step on the brake pedal with the motor off.

Turn the motor on.

Did the pedal drop at all?
