Well,
after over 20,000km, it came time to look at making the brakes work well again, so contacted some companies, and sourced some parts to get the pedal working like it should.
DBA now have the T2 range to suit FJ, so they arent directional any more, and are quieter than the previous slotted rotors, and Bendix have the 4wd pads, rear same as 80 series.
I am working on custom pad material set up available with T2 and T3 rotors also soon.
Pedal pressure has been reduced by up to 1/3, and as they heat up, they work better and better, while giving good feedback.
Vehicle now stops in less distance than it did standard from 100 kph.
And dont forget to thread lock the caliper bolts!
